  • FA Defensive Back #32
Commanders signed CB De’Vante Bausby, formerly of the USFL’s New Jersey Generals.
Bausby totaled 17 tackles and one interception with the Generals. He spent a month on the Raiders’ roster last summer before getting cut in August. He then joined the Patriots practice squad. Bausby last took the field in the NFL for the Broncos. He appeared in 10 games for Denver in 2020, defending five passes while playing a part-time role.

  • FA Defensive Back #32
Raiders signed CB De’Vante Bausby, formerly of the Broncos.
Bausby graded out as PFF’s 163rd cornerback in 2020, so he’s unlikely to make a defensive impact. Bausby played meaningful snaps on special teams however, and could make the roster if he stands out on the return teams or in kick coverage.

  • FA Defensive Back #32
Broncos re-signed CB DeVante Bausby to a one-year contract.
Bausby began his career with one-year stints in Chicago and Philly, but may have found a home with the Broncos. He will likely be a special teamer and depth option, although he did play 100% of the defensive snaps in Week 4 before a neck injury ended his season.
  • FA Defensive Back #32
Broncos CB DeVante Bausby said he couldn’t move for 30 minutes after injuring his neck in Sunday’s win over the Chargers.
Bausy, who says he never lost consciousness, had to be backboarded after a collision with a teammate. He had no feeling for 30 minutes and did not regain full mobility for two hours. The Broncos’ No. 4 corner, Bausby has played 133 snaps this season, including all 82 in Week 4. He is being sent to injured reserve and would seem an unlikely candidate to return.
  • FA Defensive Back #32
Chiefs signed Pittsburg State CB DeVante Bausby.
Bausby (6'1/179) racked up four interceptions as a senior in Division 2, but didn’t put himself on the NFL radar until he ran a “wind-aided” 4.22 at his March Pro Day. Bausby frequently practiced against Cardinals WR John Brown in college and offers an intriguing height-speed combination. He’ll likely need at least two years of seasoning before pushing for NFL snaps.
