    Jets waived/injured TE Dedrick Epps.
He’ll clear waivers and go on injured reserve. Epps, 24, made the Jets’ roster as a former seventh-round pick out of Miami. He had one catch for nine yards.
  • FA Tight End #83
Jets signed TE Dedrick Epps from the Bears practice squad.
A seventh-round pick in the 2010 draft, Epps recently landed in Chicago after being cut by the Jets. His addition is an ominous sign for Dustin Keller, who had a setback with his hamstring injury on Thursday.
  • FA Tight End #83
Chargers seventh-round pick Dedrick Epps is the favorite for the No. 3 TE job.
Epps, a 6'3/250-pounder out of Miami, caught 19 balls for 247 yards as a senior. He’s a decent blocker and pass-catcher, but won’t knock anyone’s socks off. At least Epps gets to learn from Antonio Gates.
  • FA Tight End #83
    Dolphins signed TE Dedrick Epps.
Released by the Chargers in September, Epps was signed to the Dolphins’ active roster after WR Brian Hartline (finger) went on I.R. The former Hurricane is not expected to make much of a splash in his return to Miami, as the seventh-round rookie is buried on the tight end depth chart.
  • FA Tight End #83
Chargers signed seventh-round TE Dedrick Epps to a multi-year contract.
Epps may have been drafted earlier had Jimmy Graham not cut into his playing time down the stretch at Miami last year. A solid all-around tight end, Epps is expected to hold down the No. 3 job behind Antonio Gates and Randy McMichael as a rookie.
  • FA Tight End #83

Epps was drafted in the seventh round after splitting tight end duties with Jimmy Graham at Miami last season. The Bolts with go with Randy McMichael and Kris Wilson behind Antonio Gates.
