Cardinals DT Darius Robinson (calf) is active for Week 13 against the Vikings.
The first round draft pick will make his NFL debut against the Vikings after sustaining a serious calf injury in September. The team has been careful in getting him back into action. The Cardinals declared TE Travis Vokolek, WR Xavier Weaver, OL Christian Jones, OLB Julian Okwara, and DL Khyiris Tonga inactive against Minnesota.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports Cardinals DT Darius Robinson (calf) will play in Week 13 against the Vikings.
The No. 27 overall pick has yet to play after suffering a severe calf injury just before the start of the season. He was placed on injured reserve before Week 1. Robinson returned to practice nearly two months ago, but the Cardinals have been taking things slow with the first-round rookie. He will likely play a rotational role in his NFL debut.

Cardinals DT Darius Robinson (calf) is questionable for Week 13 against the Vikings.
Robinson was activated from injured reserve a month ago but has yet to make his NFL debut. The first-round pick suffered a calf injury just before the start of the season. Head coach Jonathan Gannon said earlier this week that Robinson is “on track” to make his debut on Sunday.

Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon said DT Darius Robinson is “on track” to play in Week 13 against the Vikings.
Robinson was placed on injured reserve before the start of the season due to a Calf injury. He was activated in late October but has yet to take the field for his first regular-season action. It sounds like that will change on Sunday, as the team appears ready to debut their No. 27 overall pick against the Vikings. Robinson totaled 43 tackles, 14 TFLs, and 8.5 sacks in his final season at Missouri and is expected to be a key contributor along the Cardinals’ defensive front. His return will be welcomed by a defense that currently ranks 11th in points allowed per game and 18th in yards allowed.

Cardinals declared S Jalen Thompson, DL Darius Robinson, OLB Julian Okwara, OL Christian Jones, TE Travis Vokolek, and WR Xavier Weaver inactive for Week 12 against the Seahawks.
Robinson, the Cards’ first-rounder, continues to be out due to a calf injury. Jalen Thompson is out due to an ankle injury while the other inactives are healthy scratches for Arizona.
  • ARI Defensive Tackle #56
The Cardinals declared DT Darius Robinson (calf) inactive for Week 10 against the Jets.
The Cardinals’ first-round rookie remained unable to practice this week. The 5-4 Cardinals sit atop the NFC West and could surely use him down the stretch, so hopefully he can begin practicing after the Cardinals’ Week 11 bye. The Cardinals also declared S Jalen Thompson, LB Julian Okwara, OL Christian Jones, TE Travis Vokolek and WR Xavier Weaver inactive. Newly acquired LB Baron Browning will make his debut.
  • ARI Tackle #73
Cardinals ruled out T Jonah Williams (knee) for Week 9 against the Bears.
Williams will have to wait at least one more week to suit up. First-round rookie DT Darius Robinson (calf) will also miss out on Week 9 action and has yet to make his NFL debut. Both players failed to practice all week. Starting nose tackle Roy Lopez (ankle) is questionable to play.
  • ARI Defensive Tackle #56
Cardinals activated DT Darius Robinson (calf) from injured reserve.
The 2024 first-round defensive tackle has yet to play in the NFL while recovering from calf injury that forced a stint on injured reserve. He appears ready to make his professional debut when the 4-4 Cardinals host the Bears in Week 9.
  • ARI Defensive Tackle #56
Cardinals DT Darius Robinson (calf) was a DNP on Thursday.
The Cardinals opened Robinson’s 21-day return window last week. He logged a limited practice that Wednesday but has missed three straight practices since then. It’s not a great sign for the rookie as far as his return for this season is concerned, but the Cardinals still have a little less than two weeks to go to activate him. If he cannot practice this week, next week will be critical for Robinson’s season-long outlook.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #17
Zay Jones (hamstring) won’t play in Week 6 against the Packers.
Jones was set to return from a five-game suspension but will be held out at least one more week while dealing with this hamstring injury. Jones popped up on Thursday’s injury report with the injury, so it’s possible this is a new injury he sustained in his first week back. Whether or not this is something that will sideline him for multiple weeks is unknown at this time. In addition to Jones, the Cardinals also ruled out defensive tackle Darius Robinson with a calf injury.
