    Texans waived WR DaeSean Hamilton.
Hamilton suffered a non-contact injury during OTAs and is set to undergo knee surgery. Reportedly expected back “at some point this year”, Houston has waived the 27-year-old receiver who last played with the Denver Broncos. Hamilton missed all of 2021 with a torn ACL.

Pro Football Network’s Aaron Wilson reports Texans WR DaeSean Hamilton will undergo knee surgery.
Wilson added that Hamilton is expected to return “at some point this year.” Hamilton suffered a non-contact injury in OTAs, but it isn’t believed to be a torn ACL. The 27-year-old was released by Denver in March after missing all of 2021 because of a torn ACL.

Texans signed WR DaeSean Hamilton, formerly of the Broncos, to a one-year contract.
Houston hosted Hamilton for a workout before the start of free agency. After failing to land any big names, they are now inking the 27-year-old receiver. A former fourth-round pick, Hamilton failed to carve out a meaningful role with the Broncos. He suffered a torn ACL last offseason shortly after the team decided to move on from him. The injury kept him sidelined for the entirety of the 2021 season. If the Texans fail to address their need at receiver in the draft, Hamilton will have an outside shot at earning a starting role.

Pro Football Network’s Aaron Wilson reports the Texans will work out WR DaeSean Hamilton.
The Broncos released Hamilton, entering his age-27 season, after he missed the 2021 season with an ACL injury. The former fourth-round draft pick has 81 career receptions for 833 yards and five touchdowns in 46 games. He could carve out a starting spot in the talent-depleted Houston receivers room if he signs with the team this spring.

    Broncos released WR DaeSean Hamilton.
Hamilton missed all of last season after tearing his ACL in May. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Hamilton was set to be traded to the 49ers last offseason before suffering the injury. The former fourth-round pick has 81 career grabs for 833 yards and five touchdowns in 46 games and will look for a fresh start elsewhere. Hamilton turns 27 later this week and should be ready to go for a normal summer.

NFL Network’s Taylor Bisciotti reports free agent WR DaeSean Hamilton suffered a torn ACL training outside of Denver’s team facility.
It puts Hamilton’s salary in jeopardy only 24 hours after he was waived by the Broncos since the injury occurred away from the team’s practice facilities. Hamilton was reportedly going to be traded following rookie camp before he suffered the injury. It’s a crippling blow as Hamilton, 26, likely won’t receive a tryout until next year’s minicamps.

    Broncos waived WR DaeSean Hamilton.
The receiver-rich Broncos have one of the league’s most crowded wideout rooms, while 26-year-old Hamilton managed only 23 grabs in 16 games last season. Hamilton, who has reached 23 catches in all three of his NFL campaigns, is also capable of playing both inside and out. He’s a great athlete, if not a blazingly-fast one. He will get a second chance, likely getting claimed off waivers. He could re-emerge on the PPR radar if he winds up in the right landing spot.

DaeSean Hamilton caught 2-of-6 targets for 18 yards in Week 17 against the Raiders.
Hamilton spent most of the season buried on the depth chart behind Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, and KJ Hamler. The Broncos may move on from Patrick this offseason, but they’ll be getting Courtland Sutton back. Hamilton shouldn’t return as higher than the No. 4 receiver.

DaeSean Hamilton caught 5-of-9 targets for 77 yards in the Broncos’ Week 16 loss to the Chargers.
Typically a backup, Hamilton got more run with the first-team offense after KJ Hamler left early with a concussion. He filled in as the slot receiver and ultimately led the position in receiving yards. With one meaningless game remaining, it’s possible Hamler misses and Hamilton starts in Week 17.

DaeSean Hamilton caught 4-of-6 targets for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ Week 10 loss to the Raiders.
Hamilton now has a score in back-to-back games but he was still tied for fourth in targets on Denver this week. He also got extra run toward the end of the game with Tim Patrick being ejected from the contest. Before these past two weeks, Hamilton had 58 receiving yards on the entire year. Hamilton remains off the fantasy radar unless something happens to Patrick.
