Alex Pierce caught 3-of-7 targets for 30 yards in the Colts’ Week 16 loss to the Falcons.
Pierce saw a few deeper targets from Gardner Minshew, but could not pull most of them in. He drew a defensive pass interference in the end zone in the first quarter, leading to a Jonathan Taylor touchdown. However, he also dropped a crucial third down pass in the second quarter to stall a drive. The Colts offense struggled against the Falcons and Pierce was a recipient of low-quality looks. D.J. Montgomery was the only receiver outside of Pierce and Josh Downs to even see a target, finishing with one catch for eight yards. Pierce is best left on fantasy benches for Week 17.
