WR Courtney Roby injured his hamstring recently.
Coach Jeff Fisher says Roby will be very limited at OTAs this week. Roby is expected to be in the mix for the Titans’ No. 3 receiver job.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
    Saints re-signed KR/WR Courtney Roby.
Roby, 29, lost his kick-return job in New Orleans last season, but did make eight special teams tackles. He hasn’t caught a pass since the ’09 campaign.
  • FA Quarterback #12
ESPN’s Adam Schefter says some teams around the league “really like” Colt McCoy.
The Browns are expected to move on from McCoy before Week 1, via either trade or release. Schefter suggests that the Packers should be offering up a fifth-round pick in order to bolster their backup situation behind Aaron Rodgers. McCoy, a 2010 third-round pick, does fit in a West Coast scheme like Green Bay’s.
  • FA Wide Receiver #87
Saints WR Adrian Arrington underwent knee surgery.
There’s no timetable for his return. Arrington was pushing hard for No. 4 wideout duties with a strong camp, but those aspirations are scrapped now. Injured Nick Toon (foot), Joseph Morgan and Courtney Roby are candidates for the gig.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
Saints WR/KR Courtney Roby was forced from New Orleans’ Week 8 game against the Broncos with a shoulder injury.
He’s officially doubtful, but it’s almost certain his night is through. Roby has just one catch through seven games.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
    Saints re-signed WR/KR Courtney Roby.
Roby doesn’t play offense or handle returns, but he’s been a core special teamer for the Saints since 2009. His role will remain unchanged this season.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
    Saints released WR/KR Courtney Roby.
It’s a mild surprise. Although Roby isn’t a contributor on offense, he’s been the Saints’ primary kickoff returner for most of the last three seasons and is also a gunner.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
WR Courtney Roby (toe) returned to practice yesterday.
Roby missed two weeks with turf toe.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
In his first NFL start, Courtney Roby caught seven passes for 83 yards and a touchdown in week eight.
The lanky Indiana product played exceptionally. With Tyrone Calico now hurt, he could be starting for a while and is worth a look in most leagues. Next week’s matchup against the Browns is inviting.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
Titans WR Courtney Roby will start at wide receiver for the Titans today.
Roydell Williams will be the team’s third receiver.
