Rams requested to interview LSU’s passing game coordinator Cortez Hankton for their offensive coordinator opening.
Hankton has the same role with LSU that Joe Brady had, and previously led Georgia to first in the SEC in yards per passing attempt as passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach. Hankton is 41 years old and is a former NFL wide receiver who played primarily for the Jaguars. Sean McVay has seen numerous assistants poached by NFL teams over the past few seasons, so it would make sense to bring in some outside coaching talent.
