Former Houston Baptist redshirt sophomore DB Tra Fluellen transferred to Middle Tennessee.
Fluellen (6'2/207) is a physical box safety who excels in run support, earning a 72.7 run defense grade from PFF for his 2020 play. He registered 19 tackles, three PBU and one interception this season in just four games due to the truncated collegiate football schedule. He also managed to pick off two passes in just 70 snaps as a freshman in 2019, so he has a nose for the ball. Fluellen will still have four years of eligibility remaining.
