Goforth

Goforth (6'2/235) was ejected from Saturday’s game early in the third quarter, which means that he will also miss the first half of USC’s next outing. The Trojans are scheduled to host Utah on October 9.

Goforth (6'2/215) is from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco but plans on taking at least two out of state trips to visit Vanderbilt and Oregon. The four-star recruit will also visit USC and UCLA who are just down the street from his home town. Goforth has received nearly two dozen offers, but Vanderbilt, Oregon, USC, and UCLA are currently at the top of his list. Rivals ranks him as the No. 12 outside linebacking prospect in the 2019 class.

Goforth was also considering UCLA -- his brother, Randall, currently plays for the Bruins, and he took visits to Oregon and Vanderbilt as well. The 6-foot-2, 224-pound linebacker ranks 22nd among outside linebackers on 247 Sports composite rankings, and 57th among all players in California. USC -- as usual -- is closing strong.
