Watch Boise State’s turf go from blue to green for the other kind of football

Albertson’s Stadium, the home of college football’s infamous blue turf, will host a soccer match July 18. Because Sepp Blatter isn’t running this, the two teams -- La Liga’s Athletic Club de Bilbao (Spain) and Liga MX’s Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente (Mexico) -- will play on real grass, not artificial turf.

So that means this transition had to happen. From the Idaho Statesman, here’s the coolest thing you’ll see today:

It took crews six days to cover the blue turf and lay down the sod for the event, according to the Statesman. For more information on the match, click here.
