Video: What now for the Big East?

Much like the Big 12 -- unless you’re Dan Beebe -- the Big East has been wobbled by the latest round of conference expansion that’s left it with just seven football-playing members -- and that includes TCU, which is scheduled to join the conference next year.

So much so, in fact, that there’s some talk that the Big East and the Big 12 are involved in talks regarding a merger if the two conferences continue to be poached by other leagues. Or, as we have discussed in the past, one could pick at the carcass of the other depending on how many expansion dominoes tumble.
