Just six days ago, Jamie Blatnick was one of three players representing Oklahoma State at the Big 12 media days.
Today, the defensive end finds himself in need of legal representation.
According to the Daily Oklahoman, Blatnick was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with felony aggravated assault and battery. The charge stems from an incident at a Stillwater bar in which its alleged Blatnick put a beat-down on former Cowboys teammate Stephen Denning.
Denning apparently didn’t hold his own in the scuffle as the ex-offensive lineman suffered a fractured orbital socket and required several stitches in his left upper eyelid and cheekbone.
Head coach Mike Gundy has yet to comment on the player’s arrest.
Blatnick will enter summer camp as the penciled-in starter at one of the defensive end spots.
