Already stinging from the suspension of Maurice Harris and the academic issue of 2009 signee C.J. Mizell, Florida State’s linebacking unit has suffered yet another blow, the St. Petersburg Times is reporting.
According to the paper, and citing WarChant.com, LB Vince Williams will miss the entire 2009 season as he continues to recover from back surgery.
While Williams was listed as a backup, he was expected to contribute significantly more in ’09 than he did as a freshman in ’08.
