By most measures, Matt Grothe of South Florida is one of the top quarterbacks in college football.
In 38 career starts, the Tim TeBull of the Big East has thrown for 8,157 yards and 47 touchdowns while also rushing for 2,085 yards and 23 touchdowns.
Some might wonder, where’d this talent come from? From what reservoir did Grothe and, by extension, his parents and coaches tap this immense talent?
