Alabama rolled through the fist month of the football season without a blemish in the win-loss columns. The Tide’s injury report is another story.
Nick Saban announced Monday that wide receiver DeAndrew White running back Dee Hart (pictured) will miss the remainder of the season with knee injuries. Both will require surgery.
The two players went down in Saturday’s 33-14 win over Ole Miss. White’s injury occurred in the first quarter and the receiver had to be helped off the field. Hart went down in the fourth quarter after catching a punt, and although he was able to make it to the sidelines, was clearly emotional heading into the locker room.
It’s an especially tough break for Hart, who missed all of last season with an ACL tear. Hart was the team’s fourth-leading rusher this season with 88 yards. White had eight receptions for 105 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
