When last we saw Bovada‘s title odds, Alabama and Oregon were neck and neck. A week later, one of the two has gained considerable gambling traction.
In the latest set of odds released by Bovada.lv, and on the strength of its win over then-No. 1 Mississippi State, Alabama is a decided 5/2 favorite to win the 2014 championship. Oregon, meanwhile, is up slightly to 15/4.
Last week, both the Tide and the Ducks were at 4/1.
Ohio State, coming off back-to-back wins over ranked teams, moved from 8/1 to 6/1, behind only UA, OU and Florida State (6/1, same as a week ago).
In Big 12 odds land, Baylor jumped from 16/1 to 17/2, while TCU, which struggled on the road to lowly Kansas, dipped a bit to 7/1. The Horned Frogs were 6/1 seven days ago.
The MSU Bulldogs didn’t take much of a hit odds-wise, moving from 15/2 after Week 11 to 17/2 after Week 12.
