90-year old Bryan Sperry catches a TD pass in Kansas alumni game

It was a good weekend for the old timers in college football alumni games this weekend. In Lawrence, Kansas, former Kansas Jayhawk Bryan Sperry, at the spry age of 90 years old, scored a touchdown in an alumni game after hauling in a screen pass.

If you forgot, Sperry also scored a touchdown in the Kansas alumni game last year as well. He may be getting up there in years, but he still has some moves left in him. It is also fun to see programs honor the history of the program the way Kansas has now done with Sperry and the way South Carolina did on Saturday as well. Sperry is a Kansas treasure who returned from the Battle of the Bulge in World War II to play college football at Kansas and catching a pass in the 1948 Orange Bowl.

Unfortunately, he has exhausted his eligibility.
