The Stanford football program received some exciting news on Thursday evening. Four-star running back Casey Filkins from Lake Oswego High School has verbally committed to the Stanford Cardinals.
FIlkins was previously committed the University of California Berkley prior to flipping to the Cardinals.
The 2020 All-American announced his decision via his Twitter account.

Last year, three Stanford commits played in the All-American Bowl; Austin Jones, Tristan Sinclair and Ryan Sanborn.
Filkins will play in the annual East vs. West matchup on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Bowl will be nationally televised, live on NBC at 1:00 PM ET, and will feature the nation’s top 100 high school football players.
