Minnesota promotes Danny Collins to defensive coordinator after Corey Hetherman’s departure to Miami
Danny Collins has been with the Gophers since the arrival of head coach P.J. Fleck in 2017 and most recently served as safeties coach and pass game coordinator.
The first team includes five players from Iowa, four from Ohio State and three each from conference champion Oregon and Indiana.
Harasymiak takes over the program as it prepares to join the Mid-American Conference in July. The Minutemen have been an independent for nine seasons.
