Texans selected Michigan OG LaDarius Henderson with the No. 249 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Henderson (6'4/309) initially played four years at Arizona State before winning a national championship with Michigan in his final college season. Henderson was a foundational piece during the Wolverines’ championship run, paving the way for the 18th-leading rusher in the country and protecting 2024 first round pick J.J. McCarthy. Henderson has a vast wingspan that looks even wider with his larger backside. However, he manages to stay light on his feet thanks to his thinner legs and ankles. Henderson is an exceptional puller, as he moves quickly and nimbly through the muck to clear out the hole. He will need to work on keeping his pad level once he reaches the gap, as he often runs very upright to get there. Having split time almost equally between Tackle and Guard in his college career, it would seem that versatility is a strength. A future as a bookend is definitely possible as he brings offensive line depth to the Texans.
  • Arizona State sophomore T LaDarius Henderson was named Pac-12 offensive lineman of the week for his performance against UCLA.
What a week it has been for the Arizona State Sun Devils. On the same day that standout quarterback Jayden Daniels earned offensive player of the week honors from the conference, Henderson (6'4/310) was named Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the Week for his play as AZ State upset a ranked UCLA Bruins team, 42-23 on the road. It’s going to be exciting to see what the remainder of the season holds for this squad.

  • Arizona State freshman T Ladarius Henderson (eye) is out for Saturday’s contest with Arizona.
Henderson was poked in the eye during practice this week, so the 6-foot-4, 265-pound tackle will miss the Territorial Cup. Senior Roy Hemsley will start in Henderson’s place.
