Former Old Dominion sophomore DB Kaleb Ford-Dement transferred to Washington State.
Ford-Dement has been all over the place. A JUCO player back in 2018, Ford-Dement (5'11/180) transferred to ODU in 2019 and played a significant role for them. ODU did not play in 2020, though, meaning Ford-Dement effectively missed a year of play. Ford-Dement then tried transferring to UCLA this offseason, but was denied entry by UCLA admissions, prompting him to now end up at Washington State. Ford-Dement picked off two passes and broke up another 13 back in 2019.

Old Dominion sophomore DB Kaleb Ford-Dement was denied entry into UCLA and will return to the transfer portal.
Ford-Dement (5'11/180) was only a two-star prospect out of high school, opting to attend two-year Kilgore College where he excelled on a team that went 10-2. He JUCO transferred to ODU in 2019 where the shutdown corner recorded 26 tackles, 13 PBU and two interceptions en route to Second-Team All-Conference-USA honors. Now that he has been rebuffed by the notoriously stingy UCLA admissions department, Ford-Dement remains in the transfer portal.
