Jordan Whittington caught his lone target for 12 yards in the Rams’ Divisional Round loss to the Eagles.
Whittington caught 22 passes for 293 scoreless yards in his rookie season after the Rams took him in the sixth round of last year’s draft. The former Texans Longhorn enjoyed a strong but brief two-week stretch in Weeks 4 and 5 when he caught 13-of-18 targets for 151 yards while Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp were both sidelined with injuries. Whittington impressed in training camp and the preseason and could be a candidate to see an increased role in 2025.

Jordan Whittington caught 3-of-4 targets for 86 yards in the Rams’ Week 18 loss against the Seahawks, adding two rushes for 12 yards.
Whittington had a 50-yard catch and run in the fourth quarter — the biggest play of the day for the Rams offense. He played a full time role in Week 18 with Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp resting in anticipation of the postseason. A preseason stud, Whittington would only see playing time if Kupp or Nacua were to miss time in the playoffs.

Rams WR Jordan Whittington (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s walkthrough.
Whittington was listed as limited due to an ankle issue, though the Rams held a walkthrough practice, so the injury report is just an estimation. Whittington has been seldom used on offense since Puka Nacua’s return, but could become a factor in Week 18 with key Rams starters potentially headed for a rest day against the Seahawks.

Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (shoulder) did not participate in Tuesday’s walk-through.
The Rams held a walk-through practice on Tuesday and Robinson was listed as a non-participant for the second straight day. He suffered a shoulder sprain in the Rams’ Week 14 win over the Bills, and now is trending to miss a Thursday Week 15 matchup against the 49ers. Jordan Whittington (shoulder) also missed practice Tuesday. Both Robinson and Whittington will need to practice Wednesday to have a chance at playing and producing on a short week.

Jordan Whittington (shoulder) practiced in full on Thursday.
Whittington is trending toward a Week 10 return from his multi-week shoulder injury. Demarcus Robinson’s hot streak likely relegates the promising rookie to that of a bench stash though.

Rams declared WR Jordan Whittington, QB Stetson Bennett IV, CB Tre’Davious White, RB Cody Schrader, P Ethan Evans, OLB Brennan Jackson, and DT Neville Gallimore inactive for Week 9 against the Seahawks.
Whittington entered the weekend listed as questionable. He has been dealing with the shoulder injury for a few weeks and will be held out once again. With Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp active, fantasy managers don’t need to worry about LA’s No. 3 receiver this week.

Jordan Whittington (shoulder) is questionable for Week 9 against the Seahawks.
Whittington barely played in Week 7 because of the shoulder injury and missed Week 8’s game against the Vikings. With Cooper Kupp back and Puka Nacua expected to play through his lingering knee issue. Whittington is not on the fantasy radar.

Jordan Whittington (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice.
Whittington has gotten in back-to-back limited sessions ahead of Week 9 against the Seahawks. The rookie wideout has a good chance of going against Seattle, and if Puka Nacua (knee) can’t go, he could be in for a relatively-sizeable role.

Jordan Whittington (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Whittington’s journey with this shoulder injury has been perplexing. He was unable to play in Week 8 and barely played in Week 7 but practiced in a limited capacity throughout Week 7 before going DNP, LP and DNP in Week 8. His limited return this week is a step in the right direction but he is not yet guaranteed to suit up. It is possible he suffered a setback somewhere along the way.

Rams ruled out Jordan Whittington (shoulder) for Week 8 against the Vikings.
Whittington was downgraded to a Wednesday DNP after practicing in a limited capacity on Tuesday. Earlier this week, Sean McVay suggested Whittington would have a “a little bit more of a workload” in Week 8, following his Week 7 decoy deployment. The Wednesday downgrade and preemptive inactive ruling suggests Whittington may have suffered a setback. We will provide an update as soon as possible.
