Colts selected Oklahoma DT Jonah Laulu with the No. 234 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Laulu, 6'5" and 289 pounds, demonstrated “rare fluidity and closing burst to the football” at Oklahoma, NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein said. A powerful bull rusher, Laulu is considered raw but his impressive traits drew attention from several team in the pre-draft process. He’ll try to crack the roster of a Ravens team that sports one of the league’s elite defensive lines.

Former Hawaii junior DL Jonah Laulu has committed to the Oklahoma Sooners.
Laulu (6'6/280) entered the transfer portal following the end of the 2021 season after playing his first three collegiate years with the Warriors. He posted career-highs in nearly every category as a junior, finishing the season with 36 tackles, 40 quarterback pressures and four sacks according to Pro Football Focus, all of which are career bests. Laulu started every game at defensive end for the Warriors in 2021, lining up on both the right and left side of the line, and also played a career high 675 defensive snaps. For a team that has seen several players hit the transfer portal following the departure of Lincoln Riley, getting a player from the portal feels like a small victory for the Sooners.
