Stanley (5'11/185), who made a couple impressive one-handed catches during Saturday’s practice according to Brian Howell of the Boulder Daily Camera, was one of three Buffaloes that filled the punt return role during the session. Fellow wideouts Laviska Shenault Jr. and Tony Brown were the others, and both are more experienced than Stanley at this stage in their respective careers. The redshirt freshman is expected to compete for the starting slot receiver role, and with a good fall camp he could also be in line for some work on special teams.
