Titans declared QB Will Levis, RB Tyjae Spears, CB Tre Avery, CB L’Jarius Snead, LB Cedric Gray, OL Dillon Radunz, and TE David Martin-Robinson inactive for Week 9 against the Patriots.
Levis got in three limited practices but didn’t progress well enough to get the start against the Patriots on Sunday. Mason Rudolph will get that nod with Trevor Siemian serving as the backup.
  • TEN Tight End #88
Temple redshirt sophomore TE David Martin-Robinson will miss a “couple months” after suffering a shoulder injury during Saturday’s 61-14 loss to Rutgers.
The Owls were hit hard by injuries in their season-opening loss to the Scarlet Knights, with Martin-Robinson (6'4/255) being one of the players affected. The redshirt sophomore, who finished 2020 with an 11-147-0 receiving line, caught a 23-yard pass before being forced to exit Saturday’s defeat. Temple played a total of five tight ends against Rutgers, but Darius Pittman (no receptions) was the only one other than Martin-Robinson to be targeted in the passing game. Next up for Temple is a road game at Akron Saturday afternoon.

  • TEN Tight End #88
Temple redshirt sophomore TE David Martin-Robinson had one catch for a team-high 30 yards in Saturday’s 28-3 loss against East Carolina.
Martin-Robinson (6'4/245) is a big target who could have helped freshman QB Kamal Gray immensely, but the two were only able to get on the same page once. The big tight end from Landisville, Penn. has averaged 13.4 yards per reception, so it would probably be a good idea for the Owls to try and get him more involved. Next up for the Owls is a schedule home game against the Top 10-ranked Cincinnati Bearcats.

  • TEN Tight End #88
Temple redshirt sophomore TE Davis Martin-Robinson is one of 13 players currently in COVID-19 protocol and will not play in Saturday’s game at Tulane.
Being in COVID-19 protocol means that Martin-Robinson (6'4/245) either tested positive for the virus or is subject to contact tracing rules. The school has not made any definitive announcements regarding the reason why Martin-Robinson and the other 12 players are currently sidelined. In total four Owls on the projected two-deep won’t play, with WR Jose Barbon, CB Elijah Clark and OL Wisdom Quarshie being the others.

  • TEN Tight End #88
Temple redshirt freshman TE David Martin-Robinson (undisclosed) took part in practice on Tuesday.
Martin-Robinson (6'4/245) was injured in Temple’s opening win over Bucknell. The Owls were off on bye this past weekend, affording him a little extra time to mend up. Barring a setback, he should be able to play against Maryland on Friday. Whether he starts or not will depend on the availability of Kenny Yeboah, who has been on the shelf for three weeks or thereabouts battling an undisclosed injury of his own. Yeboah, it should be noted, also practiced on Tuesday.
  • TEN Tight End #88
Temple freshman TE David Martin-Robinson (undisclosed) is unlikely to be able to suit up for Thursday’s game against Tulsa.
Martin-Robinson (6'4/228) linked up with the Owls as a three-star recruit over the winter. His loss doesn’t figure to be felt too acutely, as he has been working in a reserve capacity during the young campaign, having caught one pass for just two yards to date. It remains unclear just when he’ll be healthy enough to take the field again, assuming he does indeed sit out Thursday’s date with the Golden Hurricane.
