The 40-year-old Goodwin was named defensive coordinator and linebackers coach after the Tigers’ 2021 Cheez-It Bowl win over Iowa State.
Heldt appeared in 24 games and this fall was credited with 56 tackles, 10 behind the line of scrimmage, with five sacks and a fumble recovery he took 16 yards for a touchdown.
Of the six transfers, four are in what will be the only season with their current team.
