On the opening weekend of the season, Baylor will host Auburn, and Colorado will be home against Georgia Tech on Aug. 29. Arizona plays at Arizona State and Utah is at Kansas on Nov. 28, the day after Thanksgiving.
Despite the victory, BYU won’t play in the conference championship game. Iowa State and Arizona State will meet in the Big 12 Championship Game on Saturday.
Quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator Shawn Bell will take over play-calling on an interim basis.
