Tulane picked up a huge road win over Cincinnati on Saturday afternoon as guard Jonathan Stark’s 30-foot prayer as time expired was answered in a 50-49 Green Wave road win.
Stark finished with nine points, but the shot improves Tulane to 14-10 on the season and 5-7 in the American. Cincinnati drops to 17-8 as Octavius Ellis had 15 points for the Bearcats. Tulane was led by Jay Hook’s game-high 18 points.
