The offseason has seemingly brought forth a new court design or unique uniform every week. With South Carolina’s unveiling of their new “digi-camo” uniforms, another new uniform can be added to the list.
In early August, Under Armour designed new uniforms for the South Carolina football team. The goal of the football uniforms was to create “something timeless that fits in with the power and tradition of SEC Football and linked specifically to South Carolina.”
According to GamecocksOnline.com, in creating the new basketball uniforms, Under Armour looked to “create a unique visual on the court, and at the same time draw a parallel across various sports on campus. The two stripe story, first introduced in football, has been interpreted for the basketball uniforms as well.”
