Miami coach Jim Larranaga has a lot of talent to replace off his 2012-13 roster. Including NBA Draft first round pick Shane Larkin, Durand Scott and Kenny Kadji.
Larranaga and his staff have put the finishing touches on the 2013 class -- the one immediately responsible for keeping the momentum going for the Hurricanes -- and now the program is at work on the 2014 class. And that work paid off Monday night as Washington D.C. guard James Palmer committed.Miami (Fl.) has landed a commitment from James Palmer, per a source

Palmer, a St. John’s College High School product, is rated as two-star recruit by ESPN. He’s the second 2014 commitment for the Hurricanes, joining Orlando-based guard Adonys Henriquez.
The Hurricanes had a lot of scholarships to fill for 2013, and did so with a ton of transfers -- four to be exact -- and two incoming freshman. However, 2014 may yield the same problem. The Hurricanes lose six seniors. As for now, Palmer will take up one spot.
