INDIANAPOLIS -- Las Vegas native and class of 2015 big man Chase Jeter is a five-star prospect and the No. 17 player in the class according to Rivals.com but since he plays at Bishop Gorman with coveted top-5 prospect Stephen Zimmerman, there are times he can get overlooked in the national recruiting landscape.
That shouldn’t be the case, because Jeter can really play.
Standing 6-foot-10, Jeter has continually improved his game over the last year and has steadily gotten better as he’s gotten stronger. On Saturday at the adidas Gauntlet, Jeter unleashed a variety of moves for Dream Vision, one of the best programs on the adidas circuit.
Jeter dropped in a beautiful right-handed hook that appears to be a growing go-to move in the post and he’s improved his tenacity as a rebounder and shot blocker. Jeter snared rebounds in traffic away from other players and blocked shots with his off hand and also ran the floor and passed well out of the post like he usually does.
Duke has already received a visit from Jeter in March and schools from coast-to-coast are hoping the big man commits because he’s a potential difference-maker in the post.

Cameron Walker runs the point for Compton Magic: The Compton Magic are missing starting point guard Sedrick Barefield this weekend so the team decided to give the starting lead guard duties to 6-foot-7 wing Cameron Walker.
Walker is a four-star prospect in the 2015 class, and Rivals.com regards him as the No. 50 player in the class, but on Saturday, he looked fantastic in a losing effort to Jaylen Brown and Game Elite.
Playing all 32 minutes, Walker dropped in 36 points on 11-for-18 shooting (4-7 3PT, 10-15 FT) and also grabbed seven rebounds and dished our four assists. Walker also had four turnovers, but for a wing playing spot duty at the point, it wasn’t a bad outing at all.
Although he ran point on Saturday, Walker told NBCSports.com that he sees himself as more of a two or a three at the college level. Walker also said that he has a top eight of Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Florida, Harvard, San Diego State, Stanford and UCLA.

Jalen Adams continues strong start in adidas Gauntlet: Mass Rivals guard Jalen Adams is a volume shooter, but he’s quite effective at getting to the basket and either scoring or making plays for his teammates.
The explosive 6-foot-1 guard was at it again on Saturday as he poured in 31 points in a win over Ohio Basketball Club. Adams went 12-for-25 from the field and 2-for-10 the three-point line but he was nearly unguardable one-on-one when attacking the basket and Adams is a major problem in transition.
With the game well out of reach, Adams threw down a ferocious windmill and followed it up with a 360 dunk on the next possession to close out a strong performance.
The No. 27 prospect in the 2015 class told NBCSports.com that UConn, Minnesota, Kansas, Creighton, Rhode Island and Louisville are the schools he’s hearing from the most.
