The Hawks have announced the signing of Chris Silva to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Silva played most of last season with the Hawks’ G League affiliate, with the Mavericks signing him to two separate 10-day contracts in January/February. Given the fact that Atlanta will head into training camp with 15 players on guaranteed contracts, this move was likely made with the team’s G League roster in mind. Don’t expect Silva to impact fantasy basketball in 2023-24.

The Mavericks announced on Tuesday that they have requested waivers on Chris Silva.
The Mavs had just signed Silva to a second 10-day contract on February 10th, but they decided to move on before the contract was up. This will free up a roster space for them to potentially bring in LaMarcus Aldridge, who they recently brought in for a workout.

According to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, the Mavericks have signed Chris Silva to a 10-day contract.
With the Mavericks struggling to find consistency in the frontcourt in the absence of Christian Wood and Maxi Kleber, the team is signing Silva to a 10-day contract. Silva, who has spent time with three NBA teams in his short career, is averaging 14.2 ppg and 7.6 rebounds this year for the College Park Skyhawks.

The Hawks have requested waivers on F Chris Silva.
He was in training camp hoping to make the squad but it wasn’t meant to be.

The Hawks announced Thursday that they have signed Chris Silva to a contract.
While the Hawks did not disclose the terms of the deal, this is likely an Exhibit 10 contract. Silva will have the opportunity to compete for a roster spot. Still, with the Hawks already having Clint Capela and Onyeka Okongwu under contract, it’s unlikely he’ll play much if he can make the opening night roster.

The Miami Heat are signing Chris Silva to his fourth 10-day hardship contract, according to Marc Stein.
Silva will only play sparingly in Miami, so this will have no impact on fantasy basketball.

Chris Silva is no longer on the Heat injury report, but will not be eligible for Monday’s game against the Celtics.
Silva, who is on a 10-day hardship waiver contract, will be ineligible for a second consecutive game. The expectation is that the Heat will sign him to a standard 10-day contract after his current deal expires (on Sunday).

The Miami Heat are planning to sign Chris Silva to a second 10-day contract, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
Silva as well as Kyle Guy both got second 10-day contracts with Miami today. Though both should get some minutes off the bench, neither are fantasy targets at the moment. Guy could be worth a look in deep leagues, but that’s about it.

KZ Okpala (right wrist sprain) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Kings.
Okpala was originally ruled out on Saturday, with the Heat upgrading his status to questionable Sunday morning. Ultimately it was determined that he’ll miss at least one more game, which frees up minutes for recent 10-day contract recipient Chris Silva. Silva doesn’t offer enough production to merit being streamed in any league.

KZ Okpala (right wrist sprain) will not be available for Sunday’s game against the Kings.
Okpala will miss a second consecutive game due to a wrist injury. His absence freed up rotation minutes for recent 10-day contract recipient Chris Silva, who played 15 minutes in Friday’s win over the Rockets. Silva grabbed seven rebounds in the victory, but that isn’t enough to make him a player worth streaming.
