Redskins CB Carlos Rogers (ankle) hopes to fully return to Redskins practice in two weeks.
The Redskins are quite thin at corner with Walt Harris also nicked up. If Rogers keeps this schedule, he’d still have a chance to start in week one.
  • FA Defensive Back #27
Redskins activated cornerback Carlos Rogers (ankle) from the PUP list.
The Redskins bring their defensive rookies along slowly, so the top ten pick may not start right away. Defensive lineman Brandon Noble also passed a physical and will join practice.
  • FA Defensive Back #27
Carlos Rogers will make his Redskins debut Friday.
He participated fully in his first practice Monday and reportedly looked great. If he starts, Rogers could be a decent IDP pick this season because teams are likely to test the rookie.
  • FA Defensive Back #27
The Raiders are hosting free agent CB Carlos Rogers on Monday.
Turning 33 in July, Rogers fits the age profile for a Raiders team loading up on late-career veterans. Released by the 49ers on March 10, Rogers hadn’t so much as earned a free agent visit before Oakland called him. Rogers, in his prime, was a physical 6-foot press corner who could also cover the slot.

Raiders signed CB Carlos Rogers, formerly of the 49ers.
Rogers, 33 in July, was released by the 49ers three weeks ago. His visit to Oakland on Monday was his only one. Rogers can still play as a slot corner who can defend the run a bit and will fill that role for the Silver and Black. Tarell Brown and D.J. Hayden will serve as the outside corners. The Raiders are loading up on aging veterans in an attempt to compete in the tough AFC West in 2014.
  • FA Defensive Back #27
Raiders CB Carlos Rogers (knee) has been ruled out for Week 11.
T.J. Carrie (ankle) is listed as questionable, but should start opposite D.J. Hayden. Rogers remains week to week.
  • FA Defensive Back #27
Raiders placed CB Carlos Rogers on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.
Rogers hasn’t played since Week 8, and the Raiders decided to free up the roster spot. 33-year-old Rogers was in Oakland on a one-year deal and will head back to free agency in March. He’s still an effective slot corner.
  • FA Defensive Back #27
Raiders CB Carlos Rogers (knee) has been ruled out for Week 9.
Rogers has been a liability in coverage, so it’s not necessarily an upgrade to Doug Baldwin’s matchup. T.J. Carrie will likely replace Rogers in the slot.
  • FA Defensive Back #27
Raiders CB Carlos Rogers (knee) is listed as doubtful for Week 9.
Rogers covers the slot in nickel. It’s an upgrade to Doug Baldwin’s matchup.
  • FA Defensive Back #27
Carlos Rogers (knee) is listed as questionable for Week 3.
Rogers was limited in practice this week with a knee strain. He’s expected to be available against New England, but will be at less than full health. Rogers will match up with Danny Amendola in the slot.
