    Jets waived OT Cameron Clark.
It’s a formality, as Clark was waived with the failed physical designation. Clark, a fourth-round pick in 2020, suffered a spinal cord contusion last summer and missed the entire 2021 campaign. He’s already announced his playing days are over at the advice of his doctors.

Jets OT Cameron Clark is expected to make a full recovery after suffering a spinal contusion during practice on Tuesday.
Clark was stretchered out of Jets practice today after the injury, and it was a scary enough moment that coach Robert Saleh called off the rest of practice. The team announced he has been diagnosed with a spinal contusion and will eventually make a full recovery. He is staying in the hospital overnight for observation.

Jets OL Cameron Clark has movement in his extremities after suffering a neck injury at practice on Tuesday.
New York selected Clark in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but he didn’t play in any games as a rookie. On Tuesday, he was stretchered out of Jets camp after sustaining a serious-sounding neck injury, but coach Robert Saleh indicated the second-year pro does have movement in his extremities. We await further news as Clark is stationed at a New Jersey hospital, but Saleh noted that he remains optimistic. The Jets called off the rest of practice after Clark’s injury.

Jets signed No. 129 overall pick OT Cameron Clark to a four-year contract.
Clark was a three-year starter at Charlotte, winning team Offensive MVP in 2017. The 6-foot-4 and 308-pound tackle displayed solid-enough speed (5.29-second 40-yard dash), strength (26 reps on bench) and jumping ability (25-inch vertical; 101-inch broad) for a man his size, although he might have to transition from tackle to guard depending on how things shake out. Clark showed high-level ability against Clemson and possesses plenty of upside. The Jets have revamped their entire offensive line this offseason after truly operating as one of the league’s worst offensive fronts in 2019.
