    Lions waived OL Caleb Benenoch.
Benenoch appeared in one game for Tampa last year after being a 16 game starter in 2018. Detroit signed DE Will Clarke to take his spot.

  • FA Tackle #65
Lions claimed OL Caleb Benenoch off waivers from the Cowboys.
Benenoch started at right guard in all 16 games for the Buccaneers in 2018 and will provide depth for an offensive line that just lost OL Kenny Wiggins (arm, IR) for the season.
  • FA Tackle #66
Bucs reserve OLs Kevin Pamphile and Caleb Benenoch will play multiple positions during OTAs.
Pamphile spent time at guard and right tackle last season and is working to get acclimated at center. A tackle by trade, Benenoch will also get practice reps inside as a rookie. Like most NFL offensive line coaches, Bucs OL coach George Warhop values versatility from backup offensive linemen.
  • FA Tackle #65
Bucs signed No. 148 overall pick OT Caleb Benenoch to a four-year, $2.823 million contract.
A tackle who started mixing in at guard late in his UCLA career, Benenoch is a great athlete, but may lack NFL strength. He’ll try to carve out a role as a jack of all trades at the back end of the Bucs’ offensive line group.
  • FA Tackle #65
Buccaneers selected UCLA T Caleb Benenoch with the No. 148 overall pick of the 2016 NFL draft.
Benenoch (6'6/311) closed out his Bruins career with 35 straight starts, mostly at right tackle but mixing in four at guard last year. His strength is movement ability; Benenoch ran 4.98 at the Combine and offers experience in the zone-running game. Benenoch’s weaknesses are his core strength and inability to overpower defensive linemen. He projects as a swing guard-tackle reserve early in his career who could eventually grow into a lower-end starting guard.
