    Washington’s absence should mean increased playing time for Naji Marshall. Williams should see meaningful minutes and is worth streaming if you need him. He’s averaged 16.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists across 26.9 minutes over his last eight games, including two starts.

    Portland is down five players due to COVID-19 protocols -- Robert Covington, Ben McLemore, Dennis Smith Jr., Trendon Watford and Keljin Blevins. Cumberland has ben playing in the G League for the Delaware Blue Coats, where he’s averaged 9.4 points on 43.2% shooting, 1.1 triples, 3.7 boards, 2.8 dimes and 1.1 steals in 21.1 minutes.

    Bucks waived forward Brandon Williams.
    The Bucks are down to 15 players. Lonnie Jones might join T.J. Ford and Zendon Hamilton on the injury to start the season.

    Atlanta GM Pete Babcock said the Hawks will sign small forward Brandon Williams (13.2 points per game) out of the NBDL to a 10-day contract.
    Atlanta has two open spots on their roster, and plan to fill the second with a guard. They are waiting to see if Minnesota decides to keep Mike Wilks, whose 10-day contract expires in two days.

    Williams, who averaged 13.2 points for Huntsville of the National Basketball Developmental League, has played in the NBA with Golden State (1997-98) and San Antonio (1998-99). He’s not going to have any fantasy value.
