Free agent WR Brandon Marshall will work out for the Colts on Friday.
The six-time Pro Bowler looked spent last season, managing only 11 catches for 136 yards and one touchdown over a forgettable seven-game stint with Seattle. It’s hard to see where Marshall fits in Indianapolis, where the Colts are already well-stocked at receiver with T.Y. Hilton, Devin Funchess and Parris Campbell along with pass-catching tight ends Jack Doyle and Eric Ebron. The 13-year vet ranks 22nd on the NFL’s all-time receiving yards list (12,351).

    Saints waived WR Brandon Marshall.
Marshall didn’t appear in any games with the Saints despite signing before Week 11. It’s potentially a sign they expect Ted Ginn (knee) to return from IR this year. New Orleans claimed TE Erik Swoope off waivers to take Marshall’s spot.

Saints declared Brandon Marshall inactive for Week 11 against the Eagles.
Signed earlier this week, Marshall was not expected to play. He could get his first action against the Falcons on Thanksgiving night. LT Terron Armstead (shoulder), DE Marcus Davenport (toe), LB Manti Te’o, DL Mitchell Loewen, C Will Clapp, and OL Chaz Green were also ruled out.

Brandon Marshall won’t play Week 11 against the Eagles.
Marshall joined New Orleans earlier this week and is still learning the team’s offense. It’s likely he’ll make his Saints debut Thanksgiving night against Atlanta. With Marshall unavailable, Austin Carr will join Michael Thomas and rookie Tre’Quan Smith in three-wide sets against the Eagles.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune doesn’t expect Brandon Marshall to play in Week 11 against the Eagles.
Marshall has only been with the Saints five days. He’s healthy but may not be in game shape after sitting the last three weeks. Marshall should be a scratch Sunday before making his Saints debut in Week 12.

Saints signed Brandon Marshall to a one-year contract.
This move was expected following Dez Bryant’s season-ending injury. Marshall did not appear to have much left in the tank during six games with the Seahawks earlier this season. He can be left on the wire in shallower leagues.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Saints are expected to sign free agent Brandon Marshall this week.
Marshall will take Dez Bryant’s spot. The Saints worked out Marshall last week and were considering adding him even before Bryant’s injury. Marshall didn’t show much with Seattle earlier this season but gives the Saints a veteran red-zone presence. He’ll push Austin Carr and Ben Watson for targets.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Saints could have interest in free agent Brandon Marshall.
The Saints signed Dez Bryant over Marshall earlier this week. With Bryant out for the year, they may circle back to Marshall as a veteran flyer. Marshall was a non-factor in Seattle the first seven weeks, but he could push Austin Carr and Ben Watson for targets.

Free agent WR Brandon Marshall worked out for the Saints on Tuesday.
Fellow free agents Kamar Aiken and Dez Bryant are also working out. NFL.com’s Mike Garofolo reports it’s more than the Saints doing due diligence, and that one of the wideouts will be signed.

Free agent WR Brandon Marshall worked out for the Lions on Monday.
Marshall was released by the Seahawks last week. The Lions traded Golden Tate to the Eagles on the same day Marshall was released. In their first game minus Tate, the offense was horrendous. Marshall has little to nothing left in the tank, however. We’re not sure he’d even be an upgrade on what’s there.
