The Mavericks have signed Brandon Knight to a 10-day contract.
Knight is back with the Mavericks after making a positive impression on the team during a prior 10-day stint back in December. He gives the team another backcourt option with Sterling Brown and Trey Burke sidelined (health and safety protocols) but is unlikely to play enough minutes to be worthy of consideration in any fantasy/DFS league.

Boban Marjanovic and Brandon Knight have entered the leagues health and safety protocols, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Marjanovic had fallen out of the rotation and Knight was recently signed on a 10-day hardship deal, so in the grand scheme of things, this won’t impact too much for the Mavericks, outside of the fact that you lose two able-bodies in a time period where that is of extreme value. Charania is reporting that the Mavs are signing Isaiah Thomas, who just finished up a 10-day deal with the Lakers, so that should help stop the bleeding in the backcourt until Dallas can get back to full strength.

Brandon Knight came off the Mavs’ bench for 24 minutes and hit 6-of-12 shots and a couple 3-pointers for a season-high 18 points, three rebounds, five assists and a steal in Monday’s 132-117 win over the Blazers.
Knight has gotten better in each of his three games with the Mavs this season but his run is likely going to come to an end soon. The clock is ticking on his 10-day contract and the Mavs are starting to get guys back from health and safety protocols. but if you happened to play him tonight he came through in a pretty big way.

Brandon Knight saw 10 minutes off the bench in his Mavericks debut on Thursday, scoring two points on 1-of-4 shooting to go with two rebounds and nothing else in a loss to the Bucks.
The last time Knight appeared in an NBA game was on March 11 of 2020, but he’s found his way back into the league with so many contract players being forced into quarantine due to COVID-19. It’s nice to see him back on the floor, but he’s safe to ignore in fantasy hoops.

The Mavericks plan to sign Brandon Knight to a 10-day hardship deal, according to Adrian-Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Knight has played in 446 games in his NBA career spanning nine seasons. He was on a stint in the G-League with the Sioux Falls Sky Force, where he scored 25 points on Tuesday night. He will now get a reunion with Jason Kidd, who coached Knight for two seasons in Milwaukee. Knight is not expected to be a fantasy factor in Dallas.

The New York Knicks have waived Brandon Knight, Aamir Simms and M.J. Walker on Saturday.
Knight was signed by the Knicks hours ago so looks like they changed their mind. These three will continue their basketball careers in a non-NBA setting for now.

The Knicks have signed free-agent guard Brandon Knight.
Knight, whose career has been derailed by injuries, didn’t play in the NBA last season. Knight will likely be waived before the start of the season and spend the start of the 2021-22 campaign with New York’s G League affiliate. He can be ignored in all fantasy formats.

Brandon Knight will suit up for the Nets at Summer League as he attempts an NBA comeback.
Knight didn’t play last season, but he wants to prove that he’s healthy and roster-worthy at Summer League in Las Vegas. “The narrative of my knees, that I’m not healthy, that’s not right,” said Knight. “So for me, the narrative is just to show that I’m healthy. I’m ready to play. And I’m here. Most importantly, I’m here to serve these young guys. Summer league is not about me.” Maybe he’ll earn a camp invite somewhere, but the 29-year-old PG is well past his days of relevancy in fantasy hoops.

Brandon Knight (hamstring) finished with six points, six assists, five rebounds and one 3-pointer during Wednesday’s loss in Philly.
Knight was back after missing one game due to a strained right hamstring. He’s been surprisingly good for the Pistons’ decimated backcourt lately, averaging 16.5 points, 5.3 dimes, 4.3 triples, 2.8 boards and 0.8 steals in his previous four games. Bruce Brown (ankle) and even Derrick Rose (ankle) could be back when the NBA resumes the season, though, so Knight’s arrow is pointing down.

Coach Dwane Casey said that Brandon Knight (right hamstring strain) is “good to go” for Wednesday’s game vs. the Sixers.
Knight sat out Saturday’s game vs. the Knicks, but it appears it will be just a one-game absence. Prior to that contest, Knight was averaging 15.8 points, 5.0 assists and 4.0 treys over Detroit’s previous six games (including two starts). It’s unknown if Bruce Brown or Knight will start at PG on Wednesday.
