Twins signed RHP Brad Peacock to a minor league contract.
Peacock was recently released by the Royals after holding a 1.64 ERA and 45/16 K/BB ratio across 38 1/3 innings for Triple-A Omaha. He’ll give the Twins veteran relief depth.

    Royals released RHP Brad Peacock.
Peacock signed a minor league contract with the Royals back in March and has been cut loose after posting a strong 1.64 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 45/16 K/BB ratio across 38 1/3 innings (19 appearances) this season at Triple-A Omaha. The 34-year-old righty reliever, who has made 183 career appearances in the majors, should be able to find another opportunity in short order.

Royals reassigned RHPS Brad Peacock, Arodys Vizcaino, Colten Brewer, Jose Cuas; INFs Gabriel Cancel, Iván Castillo, Clay Dungan and Vinnie Pasquantino; and OFs Dairon Blanco, Brewer Hicken and Jacoby Jones to minor league camp.
The latest batch of cuts from Royals’ camp includes several prominent relievers including Peacock, Vizcaino and Brewer. They’ll open the regular season as extra relief depth at Triple-A Omaha and could be up at some point later this year.

Royals signed RHP Brad Peacock to a minor league contract.
The 34-year-old tossed just 5 1/3 innings for the Red Sox last season and allowed nine earned runs. Peacock was eligible to sign this offseason because he was not on a major league team’s 40-man roster at seasons end. The veteran reliever has been held back in his career by neck and shoulder injuries, but carries a career 3.48 ERA.

Red Sox optioned RHP Brad Peacock to Triple-A Worcester.
Peacock was knocked around in both of his appearances after the Red Sox acquired him from the Indians.

Red Sox recalled RHP Brad Peacock from Triple-A Worcester.
Peacock was recalled on Sunday after Phillips Valdez tested positive for COVID-19. The veteran right-hander is not an option in fantasy and is unlikely to see many high-leverage situations.

Red Sox returned RHP Brad Peacock to Triple-A Worcester.
Peacock was up as a COVID-19 replacement player, so he doesn’t need to be designated for assignment. He allowed nine runs on six hits with a 3/3 K/BB ratio across 5 1/3 innings (two appearances, one start) since being acquired from Cleveland in late August. The 33-year-old veteran righty will head back to the minors until the Red Sox need some additional pitching depth.

Brad Peacock was clubbed for five runs over 2 1/3 innings Tuesday in the Red Sox’ loss to the Rays.
Making his first start in the majors since June of 2019, Peacock made quick work of the Rays in the first inning with a seven-pitch, 1-2-3 frame. He then served up a solo homer to Randy Arozarena in the second and was pulled in the third after letting four of five batters reach and one to score. An additional two runs were charged to Peacock after he exited. In all likelihood, this was probably Peacock’s one and only start for the Red Sox.

Red Sox purchased the contract of RHP Brad Peacock from Triple-A Worcester.
Peacock will make a spot start for the Red Sox on Tuesday night against the AL East-leading Rays. It’s probably a matchup to avoid for fantasy purposes. This figures to turn into more of a bullpen game for Boston.

Brad Peacock will start Tuesday’s game against the Rays.
Peacock was just acquired from the Indians on Monday and the Red Sox are throwing him right into the fire. The 33-year-old had an ugly 7.68 ERA with a 38/14 K/BB ratio over 34 innings in Triple-A this year. It’s likely to be a bullpen game. Peacock isn’t a fantasy option, but it’s a great place to watch your favorite TV shows, live sports, and much more.
