The New England Revolution signed midfielder DeJuan Jones to a contract Monday. Jones was selected with the 11th overall pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft after scoring 16 goals in a four-year career at Michigan State University.
Following the SuperDraft in January, Brad Friedel said Jones, "Is an attacking player that can play quite a few different positions. We're looking forward to getting (Jones and Tajon Buchanan) acclimated on the team in preseason."
The Revs will begin their regular-season schedule on March 2 on the road against Dallas FC before returning to Foxboro for their home opener against Columbus Crew SC on March 9.
