The stomach issue that sent the Red Sox ace to Massachusetts General Hospital on Sunday night? It was irritation from a belly button ring. At least that's what Sale told reporters at the Red Sox pre-World Series workout at Fenway Park on Saturday.
Is this just Sale's version of Kyrie Irving telling us the world is flat?

Sale said he pitched a bullpen session Saturday at Fenway and should be ready to start Game 1 against either the Los Angeles Dodgers or Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1 of the Series Tuesday night at Fenway. The deciding Game 7 of the National League Championship Series is Saturday night.
