The Boston Red Sox added a couple more pitchers to their arsenal on Sunday.
Right-handers Silvino Bracho and Darin Gillies were signed to minor league contracts with invitations to MLB spring training. The team also made the signing of RHP Tyler Danish to a minors deal official.

SIGN UP HERE Bracho has played five MLB seasons with the Arizona Diamondbacks, though he's pitched only one big-league inning in the last three years. The 29-year-old underwent Tommy John surgery in 2019 and was sidelined due to a bout with COVID-19 in 2020. After signing a minor league deal with the San Francisco Giants last winter, he posted a 4.14 ERA over 50 relief innings with Triple-A Sacramento.
Gillies, 29, was a 10th-round pick for the Seattle Mariners in the 2015 MLB Draft. He posted a 3.96 ERA over 338 1/3 innings in Seattle's farm system. Last season with Triple-A Tacoma, he notched a 3.74 ERA over his 21 2/3 frames.
Bracho and Gillies will join the Red Sox for spring training in Fort Myers, Fla. when the MLB lockout concludes.
