Lou Merloni and John Tomase feel Chaim Bloom deserves a lot of the blame for what’s happened to the Red Sox since the MLB trade deadline
Chris Sale's long-awaited return to the mound is the focus of attention for Boston Red Sox fans this weekend, and rightfully so, but let's not forget about what's happening in Worcester right now.

Hitting in 34 straight games at any level is quite impressive. Muñoz has already broken the Red Sox Triple-A hit streak record, which was 25 games. He'll have a chance to break the organizational hit streak record Saturday afternoon when the WooSox host the Syracuse Mets at Polar Park.
Tomase: Five players we don't need to see again for the Red Sox in 2021
The 26-year-old is hitting .318 with six home runs and 31 RBI in 76 games for the WooSox this year.
Muñoz definitely has earned a chance for some at-bats at the major league level, and the Red Sox would be wise to find him an opportunity before the end of the regular season.
