The Boston Red Sox continue to struggle at Fenway Park, with Saturday's 3-2 loss to the rival New York Yankees serving as the latest example.

Mayer collected three hits for Greenville on Saturday night, including his first home run of High-A ball. Check out the blast in the video below:
Mayer has now hit 10 home runs in 67 games between Salem and Greenville in 2022. In addition to those home runs, he's also batting .277 with 42 RBI, 16 stolen bases and a .393 on-base percentage.
The No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft is enjoying an excellent season in the minors. His production at the plate, speed on the basepaths and impressive defense have all been encouraging.
