
Given Nathan Eovaldi's injury history, Red Sox fans rightfully were worried when it was revealed the right-hander would again undergo surgery on his right elbow.
Eovaldi's surgery earlier this week removed loose bodies in the elbow. It's a procedure he underwent last year as well, so he knows what to expect in terms of recovery and when he'll be able to return to the mound.
On Friday, Eovaldi provided an update on himself:
It'll hurt the Red Sox to not have Eovaldi in the rotation for the next few weeks, but they can at least breathe a sigh of relief knowing the injury isn't serious.
