Stephon Gilmore capped off one the best seasons of his career with a first-team All-Pro selection.
He joins former Patriots Ty Law (1998, 2003), Darrelle Revis (2014) and Asante Samuel (2007) as New England cornerbacks to be named to first-team All-Pro.
Gilmore had a shaky start to his first season with the Patriots, but ended last season strong. He carried that momentum into this year as the highest-rated cornerback in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus.
The seven-year veteran started all 16 games for the Patriots, racking up a career high in passes defensed with two interceptions and 45 tackles. The Chicago Bears' Kyle Fuller was the other first-team cornerback.
