Patriots rule out Andrews, White, Uche for Week 3 vs. Raiders

Both the New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders will be without a few key players in Sunday afternoon's Week 3 game at Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots on Friday ruled out starting center David Andrews (hand), running back James White (not injury related) and rookie linebacker Josh Uche (foot).

The loss of Andrews is a big one given his importance on the offensive line. He reportedly had surgery on his right hand this week, and that's the hand he uses to snap the ball to quarterback Cam Newton.

White will miss a second consecutive game to be with his family. His father, Tyrone, died in a car crash last Sunday.

Uche has yet to make his Patriots debut.

The Raiders will be without 2020 first-round pick Henry Ruggs III. The former Alabama wide receiver is dealing with a knee/hamstring injury. Raiders offensive tackle Trent Brown and linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski also have been ruled out.
