You don't often see NFL head coaches get into a shouting match with opposing players, but New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen had a tense exchange Sunday.
Belichick had just thrown a challenge flag after the Vikings appeared to come up short of a first down in the fourth quarter. For some reason, him and Thielen got into a verbal spat, and it looks like Belichick even threw an expletive in the wideout's direction.
Check out the incident in the video below:
Thielen, despite catching a touchdown in the first half, had mostly been kept in check by the Patriots defense. He had just four receptions for 19 yards and a touchdown on eight targets at the time of his argument with Belichick. It wouldn't be a surprise if Thielen was just frustrated.
And who could blame him after his pickle celebration at the end of the first half went so poorly.
