UPDATE (8 a.m. ET): The Green Bay Packers have submitted requests to interview Josh McDaniels and Brian Flores, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed Monday morning via a league source.
According to Schefter, the Cleveland Browns also have requested to interview Flores, who could garner serious interest as a head coach candidate this offseason.

Two New England Patriots assistant coaches could be busy during the team's bye week.
The Green Bay Packers are expected to request permission to interview Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and linebackers coach Brian Flores for their open head coach job, Jim McBride of The Boston Globe reported Sunday night.
NFL Media's Ian Rapoport confirmed Green Bay's requests Monday morning.
The Packers' reported interest in McDaniels has been no secret since they fired head coach Mike McCarthy, as he's expected to be a front-runner for the vacancy.
That Green Bay also is eyeing Flores is proof the Patriots' de facto defensive coordinator once again will be a hot head coach candidate this offseason. Flores interviewed with the Arizona Cardinals last year for their head coach opening before being promoted to Matt Patricia's former role as defensive play-caller in New England.

The Packers already have interviewed Chuck Pagano and Jim Caldwell for their head coach job, so McDaniels and Flores will be on a long list of potential candidates in Green Bay.
Thankfully, the Patriots' win over the New York Jets on Sunday gave the duo a little extra time to some job hunting before turning their attention to the AFC Divisional Round next Sunday.
