The New England Patriots reportedly have agreed to trade Gronkowski to the Buccaneers in a deal involving multiple draft picks. This means Gronk will come out of retirement and reunite with former Patriots teammate Tom Brady, who took his talents to Tampa Bay in free agency last month.
DraftKings SportsBook released a couple Gronkowski futures bets Tuesday. Here are the latest odds:
Comeback Player of the Year Award winner: +200 (he's the favorite)
675.5 total receiving yards: Over -110, Under -110
5 total receiving touchdowns: Over -110, Under -110
Gronkowski tallied 682 receiving yards in his final season with the Patriots in 2018. He missed three games due to injury that year. Gronk also caught three touchdown passes in 2018, compared to eight TDs over 14 games in 2017 and three TDs over eight games in 2016.
He's probably capable of going over 675.5 receiving yards and five total touchdowns based on his talent and chemistry with Brady, but there will be plenty of competition for the 42-year-old quarterback's passes in Tampa Bay.

In addition to talented Bucs tight ends Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay also has one of the best wide receiver duos in the league featuring Mike Evans Chris Godwin. Brady will have plenty of options on every passing play, and Gronkowski's presence in the middle of the field should open up favorable matchups for guys like Evans and Godwin.
Gronkowski probably will have a respectable stat line in 2020, but the best bet probably is taking the under on his receiving yards and touchdown totals.
